National Poetry Writing Month 2023

For the 2023 challenge to write 30 poems in 30 days, I focused on exploring the theme of “home,” from as many different angles as I could call into my body.

Poems from 2023 were compiled into the chapbook, “Home & other poems,” in May 2023.

National Poetry Writing Month 2022

In 2022 I wrote 30 poems in 30 days for NaPoWriMo, including 7 poems about the 7 Ancient Greek words for Love (Eros, Philia, Ludus, Storge, Pragma, Philautia and Agape), affectionately titled “7 Sonnets on Love.”

Poetry Blog on Tumblr Since 2011

Since I was a first-year college student I have been quietly posting all my poems to a Tumblr blog. The medium has become something of a comfort to me, and I enjoy writing from the Tumblr “drafts” folder as a means of keeping old ideas on hand.
